NCT ID NCT03918837
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study tested whether repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) can change blood flow in a brain area linked to Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Thirty adults with OCD received either real or fake rTMS. Researchers used MRI scans to measure brain blood flow before and after treatment, aiming to see if the real treatment had a different effect. The goal was to better understand how rTMS might ease OCD symptoms.
