Brain zaps aim to smooth out motor struggles in autism

Summary
This study explores whether autistic adults have too much 'plasticity' (flexibility) in the part of the brain that controls movement, and if a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called rTMS can reduce that over-plasticity to improve motor function. Researchers will compare brain activity and movement skills in 150 autistic and non-autistic adults aged 18-40. The goal is to understand the brain mechanisms behind motor difficulties, not to cure autism.
