Brain zaps could help beat meth addiction

Summary

This study tests a new type of brain stimulation (rTMS) that targets two brain areas to help people with methamphetamine addiction. The goal is to improve cognitive flexibility and reduce cravings. 70 adults with severe methamphetamine use disorder will receive the treatment and be monitored for changes in thinking and drug desire.
