This study tests whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) can improve voice quality in people with laryngeal dystonia, a condition that causes involuntary muscle spasms in the voice box. Twenty adults with the condition will receive rTMS alone, rTMS combined with speech therapy, or a sham (fake) stimulation with speech therapy.
