Brain zaps for baby loss anxiety: new trial tests rTMS

NCT ID NCT06968026

First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tests a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called rTMS to see if it can reduce anxiety and improve heart function in women who have had multiple miscarriages and struggle with anxiety. Researchers will use a magnetic coil on the scalp to gently stimulate a brain area linked to emotions. The goal is to find a new way to help these women feel calmer and potentially support future pregnancies.
