Summary
This was an early safety study to see how healthy people's bodies handled a new inhaled drug called RT234. Researchers tested single and repeated doses in 31 healthy volunteers to check for side effects and measure how the drug moved through the body. The drug is being developed as a potential on-demand treatment for a serious heart and lung condition called pulmonary arterial hypertension.
