Nursing home RSV vaccine study: does living situation affect protection?

NCT ID NCT06077149

Summary

This study compared how well two already-approved RSV vaccines work in adults over 60. Researchers wanted to see if people living in nursing homes had a similar immune response to the vaccines as people of the same age living independently in the community. All 152 participants received either the Pfizer or GSK RSV vaccine as part of their standard care, and their blood was tested before and after vaccination to measure the immune response.
