Major study to track RSV's toll on young children in emergency rooms

Summary

This study aims to gather detailed information about Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) infections in children under 5 years old in Türkiye. Researchers will observe 4,000 children who test positive for RSV when they visit pediatric emergency departments over two seasons. The goal is to understand which children get sicker, how long they stay in the hospital, and what resources are used to care for them, to help improve future care.
