Summary

This study tested whether a single shot called nirsevimab could keep healthy infants under 1 year old out of the hospital due to RSV lung infections. Over 8,000 babies were randomly assigned to receive the shot or no intervention. Researchers then tracked them through the RSV season to see if the shot prevented hospital stays.
