Summary
This early-stage study tested the safety and immune response of a new mRNA vaccine designed to prevent serious lung infections caused by RSV and human metapneumovirus (hMPV). It involved 558 healthy adults, including people aged 60 and older, who received one of several different dose levels. The main goal was to check for side effects and see if the vaccine successfully triggered an immune response against both viruses.
