Summary

This study tested whether adding the experimental drug RPT193 to standard asthma inhalers could help adults whose asthma isn't fully controlled. Participants had moderate-to-severe asthma and continued using their regular inhalers while receiving either RPT193 or a placebo for 14 weeks. The trial was terminated early and enrolled only 38 people before stopping.
