New sleep apnea device put to the test: can it replace the sleep lab?

NCT ID NCT07397780

First seen Feb 20, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study checks if a new device called RPMO2 can accurately measure drops in oxygen levels during sleep in 30 adults with obstructive sleep apnea. Participants will wear the device during one night in a sleep lab, and its readings will be compared to the standard sleep test (polysomnography). The goal is to see if the device can reliably detect sleep apnea without needing a full lab setup.
