First seen Mar 13, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looked at whether teaching kidney patients about their condition using Roy's Adaptation Model helps them stick to their immunosuppressive medications and adapt better to their chronic disease. Researchers worked with 78 adults starting immunosuppressive therapy for the first time. They measured self-efficacy, medication compliance, and overall disease adjustment before and after the education program.
