Summary
This study tested a 12-week nursing program based on the Roy Adaptation Model for 115 adults who recently had a colostomy. The program included education, support, and family training to see if it could lower anxiety and depression and improve quality of life compared to standard care. Researchers also checked blood markers of stress and inflammation.
