NCT ID NCT05439850

First seen Mar 02, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study compares standard rotator cuff repair surgery to surgery with an added bioinductive implant. The implant is designed to help the tendon heal more completely. About 78 adults with full-thickness tears will be randomly assigned to one of the two groups. The main goal is to see if the implant leads to fewer retears one year after surgery.
