First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tests a simple change in how a breathing tube is placed during surgery. By rotating the tube 180 degrees before insertion, doctors hope to lower the chance of a sore throat afterward. About 357 adults having surgery with a breathing tube will take part. The goal is to see if this small adjustment makes recovery more comfortable.
