Summary

This study tested a new drug called ropanicant in 214 adults with major depression. Participants received one of two doses or a placebo for 6 weeks. The goal was to see if the drug reduces depression symptoms better than a placebo. The trial is now complete, and results will show if ropanicant is safe and effective.
