NCT ID NCT07271511
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looks at whether having a root canal done in one visit causes less pain afterward than spreading it over multiple visits, specifically for people with diabetes. About 200 diabetic patients needing root canal on a single-rooted tooth will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatment schedules. The main goal is to see which approach leads to fewer cases of moderate-to-severe pain 24 hours after the procedure.
