Dental study aims to ease root canal pain for diabetics

NCT ID NCT07271511

Summary

This study aims to find out if having a root canal done in one appointment causes more or less pain afterwards than splitting the treatment into two visits, specifically for patients with diabetes. Researchers will randomly assign 200 diabetic patients needing a root canal to either the single-visit or two-visit group and have them track their pain levels. The goal is to help dentists choose the treatment plan that minimizes discomfort for their diabetic patients.
