Why do root canals fail? major study investigates dental treatment outcomes
NCT ID NCT07244250
Summary
This study aims to understand why root canal treatments performed by general dentists sometimes have different results than those done by specialists. Researchers will follow 1,500 patients who had root canals in 2023, offering free check-ups to see how their teeth are healing. The study will track whether infections clear up and teeth remain healthy over several years to identify what factors lead to better outcomes.
