Summary

This study tests whether combining two drugs—romiplostim and rituximab—can safely raise platelet counts in adults with primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) who did not respond to standard oral treatments. About 30 participants will receive weekly injections of romiplostim and four weekly infusions of rituximab, with regular blood tests and checkups for up to a year. The goal is to control the disease and reduce bleeding risk, but ongoing management may still be needed.
