New platelet booster aims to help cancer patients avoid dangerous bleeding

Summary
This study compares a new drug, romiplostim N01, to an existing one (IL-11) for cancer patients whose platelet counts drop due to chemotherapy, radiation, or other treatments. About 88 adults with various cancers and low platelets will be randomly assigned to one of the two drugs. The goal is to see which drug restores safe platelet levels faster and more safely.
