First seen May 09, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looked at how certain immune cells (T cells and NK cells) might harm blood vessels in people with systemic sclerosis (scleroderma). Researchers collected blood samples from 30 participants to measure a molecule called Fractalkine and study how these immune cells interact with blood vessel cells. The goal was to better understand the disease process, not to test a new treatment.
