New drug shows promise in fighting rare eye cancer

Summary
This study tests a new drug called roginolisib in adults with advanced uveal melanoma, a rare eye cancer that has spread. About 85 participants will receive either roginolisib or standard treatment to see if the drug helps them live longer and improves their quality of life. The goal is to find a better option for people whose cancer has worsened after initial immunotherapy.
