First seen Apr 22, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a robot-assisted bronchoscope can both take a tissue sample (biopsy) and destroy a lung nodule with heat (radiofrequency ablation) in a single procedure. It involves 76 adults with suspicious lung nodules who cannot or choose not to have surgery. The goal is to see if this combined approach is safe and effective for controlling the disease.
