Robots vs. humans: which trains surgeons faster?
NCT ID NCT02888158
Summary
This study aimed to see if training with a robot helps new surgeons learn a specific laparoscopic procedure faster than standard training. Thirty-four surgical interns were randomly assigned to train with or without robotic assistance. They were then timed performing the procedure on an animal model to compare their speed.
