Robot surgeons vs. standard keyhole surgery: which is safer for stomach cancer?

NCT ID NCT07467174

Summary

This study aims to find out if a newer, less invasive robotic surgery is as safe as the current standard laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery for removing part of the stomach in early-stage cancer. About 538 patients will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two surgical methods. Researchers will closely compare recovery, complications, pain, and quality of life after the procedures.
