Robot vs human hands: which surgery gets you home faster?

NCT ID NCT06407024

Summary

This study compares two minimally invasive surgical techniques for removing adrenal gland tumors: traditional laparoscopic surgery and newer robotic-assisted surgery. Researchers at the Cleveland Clinic will randomly assign 54 patients to one of the two procedures to see which approach leads to better outcomes. They will measure surgery time, patient pain, hospital stay length, and costs to determine if one method offers clear advantages.
