Robot helps stroke survivors walk again

NCT ID NCT07280884

Summary

This study tested whether adding a robotic training device to standard physical therapy helps people walk better after a stroke. 62 older adults recovering from a stroke were randomly assigned to receive either standard therapy alone or standard therapy plus sessions with the Luna EMG robotic system. The main goal was to see if the robotic training improved walking speed, balance, and leg muscle activity more than standard care.
