First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study is testing whether a robot can perform heart ultrasounds (echocardiograms) from a distance as accurately as a standard in-person ultrasound. The goal is to improve access to heart failure care for people living on remote islands in Guadeloupe. About 50 adults with heart risk factors or stable heart failure will receive both types of scans, and researchers will compare the results.
