Could a tiny pressure drop ease your surgery pain?

NCT ID NCT06990750

Summary

This study tested if using slightly lower air pressure inside the abdomen during a specific type of robotic pelvic surgery could reduce patients' pain after the operation. Researchers compared the standard pressure to a lower pressure in 70 women having the surgery. The goal was to see if the lower pressure helped with pain without making it harder for the surgeon to see during the procedure.
