Robot surgeons aim to spare men from Chemo's harsh side effects
NCT ID NCT05345158
Summary
This study is testing a less invasive robotic surgery as the first treatment for testicular cancer that has spread to nearby lymph nodes. It aims to see if this approach can effectively control the cancer while allowing patients to potentially avoid chemotherapy and radiation, which often have significant side effects. The study will follow about 25 patients for at least 5 years to track cancer recurrence, complications, and quality of life.
