Robot aims for pinpoint accuracy in delicate bone surgeries
NCT ID NCT07325578
Summary
This study is testing a new robotic system called Epione to see if it can help doctors more accurately place needles during certain bone procedures. The procedures are for conditions like bone tumors, fractures, or osteoporosis in the spine or pelvis. Researchers will compare the robot-assisted method to the standard freehand technique to check if it's safe, feasible, and more precise.
