Robotic 'Exosuit' tested to ease chronic back pain

NCT ID NCT05736393

Summary

This study tested a soft, wearable robotic device, called an exosuit, to see if wearing it during physical therapy could help people with low back pain. The goal was to see if the suit was safe and easy to use, and if it could help reduce pain and disability by supporting the back and hips during movement. Researchers compared results from 44 adults who used the suit to a historical group that received standard physical therapy care alone.
