Robotic arms help stroke patients regain movement

NCT ID NCT07259876

Summary

This study tests whether robotic therapy can help people who have had a stroke regain movement in their arms. Right-handed participants who had a stroke more than 6 months ago will use special robotic devices for 15 sessions over three weeks. Researchers will measure changes in arm function, movement smoothness, and brain activity to see if the therapy works better depending on which side of the brain was affected by the stroke.
