Robot surgeons face off in prostate cancer trial
NCT ID NCT06434649
Summary
This study compares two different robotic surgery techniques for removing the prostate in men with intermediate or high-risk prostate cancer. Researchers want to see which approach—coming from the back or the front—leads to better cancer control while preserving urinary control and sexual function. About 118 patients across 12 centers will be randomly assigned to one technique and followed for at least a year.
