Robotic glove & zaps: new combo aims to speed stroke hand recovery

NCT ID NCT07282938

Summary

This study is testing whether using a soft robotic glove together with electrical stimulation on the hand helps people recover hand function after a stroke better than using either method by itself. It will involve 64 stroke survivors who are 3 to 6 months past their stroke. Participants will use the treatments for 40 minutes a day, three days a week, for eight weeks to see if the combined approach speeds up rehabilitation.
