First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tests whether combining a soft robotic hand device with electrical stimulation can help stroke survivors regain hand function faster than using either therapy alone. Sixty-four adults who had their first stroke 3 to 6 months ago will receive 40-minute sessions, three times a week for 8 weeks. Researchers will measure grip strength, dexterity, and daily task performance before, during, and after treatment.
