Robotic suits tested to give stroke survivors their stride back

NCT ID NCT06064604

Summary

This study is testing two types of wearable robotic devices—one for the hip and one for the ankle—to see if they can help people who have had a stroke walk better. Twenty participants will try both devices while walking on indoor courses and outdoor paths, and researchers will measure their walking speed, distance, and how much effort it takes. The goal is to develop personalized robotic assistance that people can use in their daily lives to improve mobility after a stroke.
