Robot suits tested to get heart surgery patients back on their feet faster

NCT ID NCT07353892

Summary

This study is testing whether a robotic exoskeleton suit can help patients walk sooner and more safely after major heart or chest surgery. Researchers will compare patients using the robot-assisted walking program to those receiving standard physical therapy. The main goals are to see if the robot helps people get moving faster and if it is safe and practical to use in a hospital setting.
