First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study will see if using a robot for emergency abdominal surgery is possible and helpful. About 30 people needing urgent surgery for conditions like gallbladder problems or bowel blockages will be included. The goal is to see if robotic surgery can lower the chance of complications, reduce the need for large incisions, and shorten hospital stays compared to standard surgery.
