First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study tested whether a robotic training device helps new medical residents learn how to insert central lines (a type of IV) more safely. Over 700 residents trained with the device, and researchers checked patient records to see if complication and infection rates changed. The goal was to see if better training leads to fewer problems for patients.
