First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 22, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study is testing a robotic bronchoscopy system combined with real-time 3D imaging to see if it can more accurately reach and sample suspicious lung nodules. Researchers will enroll 132 adults with lung nodules to see how well the system performs and how quickly doctors learn to use it. The main goal is to improve the diagnostic yield—getting a clear answer on whether a nodule is cancerous or not from the biopsy sample.
