Robot aims for pinpoint accuracy in bone surgeries
NCT ID NCT06376682
Summary
This study tested a new robotic system called EPIONE to see if it can safely and accurately help doctors guide needles into bones during certain procedures. The procedures are for conditions like bone tumors, fractures, or cancer that has spread to the bone. Researchers measured how well the robot-assisted needle placements worked compared to the doctor's original plan.
