Robotic exoskeleton tailors therapy to each stroke Patient's recovery

NCT ID NCT07316218

Summary

This small pilot study tested whether adding a personalized robotic exoskeleton to standard hospital rehab could help stroke patients recover arm and shoulder movement. Seven patients used the robotic arm for seven sessions, where the machine's assistance was adjusted to match their abilities. The main goals were to check if the treatment was safe and feasible, and to see if it improved patients' arm function, spasticity, and pain.
