Robots help kids with cerebral palsy walk and breathe better

NCT ID NCT07469696

Summary

This study is testing whether adding robot-assisted walking training to standard physical therapy helps children with cerebral palsy move and breathe better. Researchers are comparing two groups of children over 12 weeks: one gets standard therapy, and the other gets standard therapy plus walking practice with a robotic device. The goal is to see if the robot training improves walking ability, balance, strength, and lung function more than standard care alone.
