Robots vs surgeons: which is safer for endometriosis hysterectomy?
NCT ID NCT06445179
Summary
This study compares two surgical approaches for removing the uterus in patients with severe endometriosis and adenomyosis. Researchers want to see if using a robot-assisted system leads to fewer complications during and after surgery compared to standard laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery. The trial will involve 224 participants and measure outcomes like complication rates, pain, recovery time, and quality of life.
