Summary
This study tests a robot-assisted, gamified rehabilitation program for children aged 7-16 with acquired brain injury. The program combines 15 supervised hospital sessions with 15 home-based sessions on a tablet, guided by an interactive avatar. Researchers will measure improvements in motor skills, thinking, and emotional well-being, as well as how easy and enjoyable the system is to use.

What this could lead to
If successful, this could provide an engaging, effective rehab option that kids can use at home, potentially improving recovery after brain injury.
What could go wrong
This is a small early-stage trial with only 30 participants, so results may not apply to all children. The control group gets no treatment, which may limit comparisons.
