Robots help unlock secrets of walking rehabilitation

NCT ID NCT06407219

Summary

This study aims to learn how a robot that helps people walk (called Trexo) affects rehabilitation for people with walking difficulties from conditions like cerebral palsy. Researchers will test different robot settings, like 'endurance' and 'strength' modes, to see how they impact physical activity, brain function, muscle tightness, and fatigue. The goal is to understand how this training works and find ways to improve it, not to provide a direct treatment.
