Robots vs. fear of falling: new study tests better walking recovery after stroke

NCT ID NCT07365384

Summary

This study aims to find out which type of robot-assisted walking training works better for people recovering from a stroke. It will compare a robot that allows free hip movement to one that restricts it, looking at improvements in walking pattern, balance, and confidence. Thirty-six stroke survivors will receive one of the two training types along with standard therapy over four weeks.
