First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study looks at how different types of robot conversations affect children in the hospital. About 60 kids aged 2-9 will talk with a robot named LIKU, which uses either a simple rule-based chat or a more advanced AI chat. The goal is to see which approach makes children more engaged and comfortable, and to learn how to design better robot helpers for young patients.
